Celebrating harmony between nature and technology

At the Milan Design Week 2024, Fast presents its new collections, born from the collaboration with Alberto Lievore and the designer and architect duo Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces, the company's new creative director from October 2023.

Harmony, sustainability, territory, technology and traditional craftsmanship: these are the cornerstones from which Fast, the historic Brescian aluminium outdoor furniture company, started its path of renewal and rebranding, undertaken under the creative direction of Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces. It presents itself at the Milan Design Week 2024 (15 to 21 April 2024) with many novelties and the now customary double presence at the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone - in its flagship store located in the Durini Design District. Both locations will display Velo, a new range of seating designed by architect and designer Alberto Lievore, together with Roè, Naca and Samba: the new collections designed by Meda and Lopez Quincoces. This will be complemented by a careful selection of the brand's past and most iconic collections and a taste of the new finishes Lievore, Meda and Lopez Quincoces have created products that reflect the great quality and high technological level present in all aspects of Fast's production. Inevitable is the possibility of customising the pieces, a strong point of the company capable of supplying different product variants thanks to centralised production and the decision to invest in local suppliers.

With Roè, Naca and Samba, creative directors Meda and Lopez Quincoces have been able to translate the spirit of Fast into an even more contemporary and poetic language in the creation of transversal products that respond to the increasingly blurred boundary between indoor and outdoor living spaces. "Each piece reflects a profound dialogue between form and function, celebrating the constant harmony between nature and technology. The new collections are the fruit of the human imprint, and encapsulate the stories of the land, its values and the experiences of the people who inhabit it," comment Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces. With Velo, Alberto Lievore presents a collection that stands out for its extraordinary flexibility of use, adaptable to various open space environments, from contract to residential. Lievore's design reflects the most authentic and characteristic values of Fast, offering versatile and cosy solutions for a variety of open spaces. "After years of close collaboration with the company, I am thrilled to be part of the Fast family and to contribute to this evolution. With Velo, we wanted to pay homage to the essence of timeless design by emphasising the harmonious fusion of aesthetics, functionality and nature,' says Alberto Lievore.
