Immersive installation describes the circularity of wood

"LEGEND. the renaissance” is the concept that the Italian company Gruppo Saviola brings to Milan Design Week (6 to 12 June 2022) in the spaces of Torneria Tortona, in the historic and renowned design district that is the beating heart of the Fuorisalone. Saviola is a pioneer of the circular economy, the first company globally to have created in the 1990s an ecological panel with 100% recycled wood. These products are made from post-consumer wood, i.e. timber used as old furniture, pallets, fruit crates... giving waste material a new life. The numbers speak for themselves: 1.2 million tonnes of recycled wood each year, which corresponds to 2.8 million trees saved annually. Gruppo Saviola has developed a circular process even before this concept became as widespread as it has in recent years.

Saviola's installation at Torneria Tortona consists of an interactive and immersive journey, illustrating the entire production process of post-consumer wood recycling up to the application of the product in interior design. The responsible choice towards the Renaissance of a new Habitat based on environmental awareness and social consciousness. In this living space, visitors will be able to experience at first hand the qualities of Saviola panels, and specifically the new Elementum 2.0 Collection, through which a scenography rich in tones and textures has been created that recreates a virtuous circle ecosystem, the infinite composed of sustainability and design. Requalify, Renew, Rethink are the founding values of the work with which Saviola introduces a combination of technical and aesthetic beauty for ethical and eco-sustainable well-being.
