Sensual bathroom collection by Patrick Norguet

The physical relationship between human beings and things, the life and sensuality of objects are at the core of French designer Patrick Norguet's research. Close to the world of fashion as well as industrial and interior design, Norguet combines a profound knowledge of materials and processes with the exploration of intuition and emotion. The designer is undoubtedly one of the protagonists of the international scene: he collaborates with the best global brands and his works are included in the permanent collections of numerous museums, including the prestigious MoMA in New York.

The French designer's latest experience is the RAK-Valet collection, which was developed in collaboration with RAK Ceramics, one of the world's leading companies in the ceramics sector. The key word of the collection is "balance": in the dialogue between light and shadow, between volumes, lines, elements, shapes and materials, each element is never decorative, and is designed to suit the people who live in the space. Patrick Norguet's design investigates new ways of living and using domestic space, which becomes a place free from schemes, permeable, osmotic, at the same time traditional and innovative.

Consisting of washbasins, a bathtub and various accessories, the collection is available in Matt and Glossy finishes. The slim, elongated shapes of the sanitary ware and the bathtub dialogue with the accessories designed by Patrick Norguet, such as metal legs and towel rails and ceramic shelves. RAK-Valet complements some of RAK Ceramics' most successful lines, such as the brand new bathroom furniture and RAK-Joy Uno mirrors. “A well-designed object, an object created through generous collaboration is timeless,” says Patrick Norguet. We can then say that the RAK-Valet collection is a contemporary classic.
