The charm of volcanic rock meets porcelain stoneware

Resistance, sustainability, durability and versatility: ceramic, with its range of sizes and aesthetic variations, is more and more protagonist in the interior design of houses, offices, hotels, restaurants, outdoor spaces... The porcelain stoneware surfaces are products in continuous evolution, able to combine excellent performance with aesthetic research, reproducing different material effects. They range from the natural grain of wood to the antique grain of marble, from the elegance of metal to the raw appearance of concrete.

With the Blast collection, FMG – Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti reinterprets the volcanic rock, reproducing its irregular and multiform structure. By including some minerals present in magmatic stones inside the slab, a material texture is obtained, characterised by chromatic overlapping and matching tone on tone mottling.

The full mass porcelain stoneware slabs are available in five colours – Ash, Black, Beige, Brown and Grey – and in 3 different finishes – Natural, Polished and Structured – and are produced in traditional sizes of 120x60, 60x60 and 60x30 cm with 10 mm thickness. The range is completed by semigres surfaces for wall coverings, in the 60x20 cm format, and a selection of 30x30 cm mosaic formats that make laying dynamic, highlighting the material's aesthetic versatility.

Blast returns all the expressive power of lava stone, a vibrant material with great appeal, capable of evoking the charm of nature within an architecture. Its archaic and essential aspect is perfect for elegant total look environments, but is able to adapt to the most diverse design contexts both indoors and outdoors.
