Architecture and design can offer us every day authentic stimuli and sensations, revealing the true nature of the used materials. Wood – the quintessential material that represents hospitality, comfort and well-being – is the protagonist of the Italian brand's new products, combining design and stylistic attention with a new sensitivity to natural and recyclable materials.

With Wood_Wall office partition systemm, Citterio renews its research on the materials of each architectural element, of which it enhances the colours, scents and real temperatures of each one, avoiding the counterfeits allowed by contemporary industrial technologies.

Citterio is inspired by traditions and artisan knowledge, capable of passing on the attention to materials and their specificity. However, the partitions are worked with completely contemporary technologies: planers and chisels are replaced by CNC machines for maximum precision; the lamellar strips replace the solid blocks to improve the mechanical performance of each element.

Wood_Wall tells the story of a product that passes from hand to hand, involving the senses of the people it comes into contact with: the designer, the carpenter, the painter, the end customer. The different contact of each one is aimed at the creation and insertion in an architecture of a characteristic and evocative artifact.
