Gianluca Sada: Sadabike

A hubless bicycle, the smallest and lightest of the city bike, is born in the Innovative Enterprises Incubator of Politecnico di Torino conceived by a young vehicle engineer.

Promoting and enbling virtuous behaviours for smart mobility, intermodality, sustainability for environment are the values driving Gianluca Sada, Sadabike’s inventor, throught the design and development of the concept.

Sadabike, developed in Turin, Italy within I3, The Innovative Enterprises Incubator of Politecnico di Torino, is a hubless foldable bicycle conceived for actual smart cities and smart commuters: a foldable 26’’ foldable bicycle with a minumum size when folded for hand-transport.

Sadabike, despite the sizes of its wheels and the total absence of hubs and spokes, when folded, is the lighest and least cumbersome foldable bike on the city bikes market as it can be transported in a trolley.
