Born in 1967 in Parma, Andrea Chiesi joined the Chiesi Group in the early 1990s, after graduating in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies. Starting from the Engineering Packaging unit, as an analyst, he held positions of increasing responsibility, such as those of Head of Research Planning and Control (1999) and Head of R&D Project & Portfolio Management (2008). In particular, he coordinated the design and construction of the new Research Center in Parma and he started the company's digital transformation. At the same time, he earned an Executive MBA from the London Business School and Columbia University. Andrea has been the Group's Head of Special Projects since 2019: he is currently involved in the industrial and urban regeneration project of the historic Chiesi site in via Palermo, in the San Leonardo district, in Parma, intended to host a Center for Open Innovation & Competences. Andrea Chiesi is also President of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna Research.
