Like many other cities in Italy, Rome is rich in toponyms, monuments and buildings that date back to Fascism, an era that we are still struggling to elaborate and therefore to overcome. Reasoning about these places instead of forgetting or cancelling them can be an instrument of collective growth and, why not, of cultural and tourist promotion.

We are a multicultural and transcultural society and it is therefore fundamental that we all know that Italy has had a history with shadows, doubts and afterthoughts. A history, however, at the center of the Mediterranean and of a European past of which colonialism is also part.
