On Petrogradsky Island, a renovated historical district of St. Petersburg, the Moscow-based Form studio designed the interiors of a new restaurant, Sight. Coffee and Dine. The 150 sqm area includes two rooms, a cafè and a dining room, characterized by the alternation of flat and cold colors - the pink bar counter and the white ice or petrol green walls - and mélange and material coverings, like the breccia floor or the wide sponged gray wall. The restaurant's ceiling is dominated by a metal garden sculpture that recalls the stainless steel of the open kitchen, while the shimmering and semi-transparent surfaces aim to dilute an elegant but austere composition dominated by a skin tone and winter palette. Finally, the Nordic-style chairs by Sancal and Miniforms and the white bar stools by Massproductions lighten up the heavy materials used (concrete, marble, stoneware) with thin and light lines.
