The product, first one of design studio Smallgran, was developed through 2014 and 2015 under the premise of enhancing the local values of the region through a popular cocktail.
Its creation took place inside a course of the Industrial Design Degree at the Polytechnic University of Valencia taken by the three members of the studio. To further develop the product a collaboration between local craftsmen Pepe Royo and Irina Perez and the designers was established. After publishing the final version of the pitcher, the acknowledgments received motivated the designers to take it to production and offer it to the public as a sample of the studio’s capabilities in the field of product design.
Nine months after, the designers decided to improve the design of the product gathering the lessons learned from the different users experiences. This means a 100ml increase of the capacity of the pitcher and an improved design of the beak.
