The Beam bench is Samuel Accoceberry’s first piece for Mo.Wo., his new solid wood collection made of certified French oak that takes its name from Moreau Wood (Moreau & Fils), a family craftsman who transforms logs into frames.

The bench consists of a trunk that is cut in two parts and assembled on a metal or wooden base, with large and generous proportions. The composition plays with assemblages coming from the techniques of carpentry. Beam is intended for indoor and outdoor, and features an element that allows for ground fixing. It is possible to create different configurations, making it a multifaceted piece that can be used for contract furnishing, and it is available in two natural finishes: with oil or burnt, using the traditional Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban – wood charred with fire.
