Parallel to the Venice Architecture Biennale, Design.Ve is an immersive design experience where to walk through antique palaces, galleries and old warehouses.

Curated by Francesca Giubilei and Luca Berta, Design.Ve takes place together with the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2016, creating design pathways across the citywith more than 80 design projects, pollinating with creativity unused spaces of the urban context.

Combining the unicity of design creations with the immersive experience that Venice itself entails, Design.Ve is an exhibition platform in which antique palaces, galleries, but also old warehouses, closed shops and empty houses, are temporarily transformed into design spaces.

Design.Ve is a walk through two neighbourhoods of Venice, Castello and Dorsoduro, where the main cultural landmarks of the city are located. The official venues of the Biennale, Giardini and Arsenale, in Castello; the Museum of Punta della Dogana (Pinault Foundation), the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the newly refurbished Gallerie dell’Accademia in Dorsoduro.
