Michel Effe is the new seating system by Citterio. It is an addition to the first modular piece of the series, Michel, which was recently joined by Michel Club, a version with a thicker element under the seat and lower arm- and back supports. The model is more elementary in form, but still highly comfortable. The Charlotte chair, also by Citterio, is an homage to lightness. The shell is fully covered with raw-edged leather, except for a strip on the side showing the aluminium profile of the structure. The hide is stamped with an elephant-skin finish and comes in six different colours: natural, black, dark brown, khaki, bottle green and burgundy.
Urquiola’s Husk chairs are presented in new variants with added uses and looks. The base is now also available in oak or four-spoke aluminium (with or without wheels). Van Duysen’s Oskar table has strong lines for a distinct impact, and a structure that grips the legs. Curved and convex planes, tapered edges and bevelled legs are combined with a tabletop in cathedral glass with an irregular surface and pale green hues. Alternatively, white statuarietto marble, black marquinia marble or different types of wood are available, both natural or lacquered. Legs can be natural or lacquered, including a new glossy emerald green that is meant to be combined only with the cathedral glass top. Van Duysen also designed new sets of drawers called Surface, which have all the same characteristics of materials and finishes as the preceding series of low tables.
