Philharmonic Hall: the Philharmonic Hall designed by Barozzi/Veiga in Szczecin, Poland, is a white, austere volume, with the serial modulation of the roof as the only expressive element, that conceals the rich decoration of the main hall.

Kofta, Platonic Solids: for his collection Platonic Solids Kiev-based fashion designer Konstantin Kofta plays with the five perfect 3-dimensional forms of the Periodic Table of Elements.

Compact Karst House: Dekleva Gregorič Arhitekti redefined the model of a traditional stony Karst house transforming it into a compact, stony, pitched roof volume for contemporary countryside living in this region.

Forest Pavilion: Swedish studio Jägnefält Milton designed a little pavilion for a woodland site which lead roof is balancing on a single column and held in place by a ground anchor.

Geometry Stool: Koichi Futatsumata designed, for the “Showcase” exhibition in Tokyo, the prototype of a stool made out of Japanese cypress and copper.

Crossrail’s progress: new breathtaking images released by Crossrail reveal the progress of the project that will increase rail capacity and will bring people to within 45 minutes of central London.

The WireShade Project: focusing on the making and the use of the lampshade, Marc Trotereau gives shape to a sculptural object which can adapt its shape to any type of space.

Designers’ Joy: presented by Secondome Gallery in Rome and curated by Domitilla Dardi, “Designers’ Joy” presents the work by 20 international designers in contemporary jewellery.

Sibirjak: Anastasiya Koshcheeva, a Russian designer from Siberia, developed a lounge chair made of birchbark that deals with the question of how to reinterpret an age-old tradition.

Airbnb’s Portland Office: for Airbnb’s new Portland office, the design team worked very closely with the employees to co-create the space to conceive and execute their own ideas and designs.

Castle Rock Beach House: specifically conceived by Herbst Architects for the summer months, this house on the Whangarei Heads, New Zealand, feels like a light, wooden, living pavilion.

Nendo, shirt collections: from the concept of gently fusing things found around shirts into the shirt itself, Nendo designed a shirt collection where things “fused” include accessories like neckties and sweaters.

Gösta Serlachius Museum: MX_SI studio’s project has enabled the Joennimei manor in Mänttä, Finland, to be adapted to host contemporary art, respecting the identity of what was originally there while creating an architecture with modern language.

Vitacon Itaim Building: the residential building designed in São Paulo by Studio MK27 is characterized by the texture of the  wooden slats that – when lit by the sun – produces a surprising and poetic effect for the larger gables.

WallWalk Project: with 7 project groups of American and Italian students coordinated by architects and artists, the WallWalk workshop focused on the Aurelian Walls as a special and unbroken annular urban system.
