Working with Very Wood for the first time, Marcel Wanders showed two chairs in Milan that convey his style in a silent, discreet manner, without shouting.

Presented in Milan, the Loop chair and Century seating system designed by Marcel Wanders for Very Wood use a language that is quiet and discreet.

Both the Loop chair with its ash base and back in steam-curved rattan as well as the chairs in the Century range with upholstered seat and wooden back, articulate the company's philosophy in a simple, refined fashion.

The problem is that many design proposals feel like Wednesday afternoon and that's a bit boring".

"In a small-scale interior design and more particularly in contract projects, the brief is to personalise the project with quality accents at sustainable prices" explains the Dutch designer who in the Italian manufacturer specialised in seating and furniture for contract use has found a partner able to satisfy the demand for functional design made with natural materials and artisan attention to detail.
