Transsolar (Germany) and Tetsuo Kondo Architects (Japan) create Cloudscape, a place to experience a real cloud from below, within and above floating in the centre of the Arsenale. The path winds through the cloud. The structure consists of a 4.3 meter high ramp that allows visitirs to sit above the cloud. Simply, the structure leans on the existing Arsenale columns.
The cloud is based on the physical phenomenon of saturated air, condensation droplets floating in the space and condensation seeds. The atospheres above abd below the cloud have different qualities of light , temperature and humidity.

I tedeschi Transsolar e il giapponese Tetsuo Kondo hanno creato Cloudscape, un luogo in cui entrare in contatto dal basso, dall'interno e dall'alto con una nube che fluttua al centro dell'Arsenale. Il percorso muove nella nube attraverso una la struttura che consiste in una rampa di 4,3 metri d'altezza sulla quale i visitatori possono salire e camminare, potendo così sedersi sopra la nube. Semplicemente, la struttura è appoggiata alle colonne già esistenti nell'Arsenale.
La nube è basata sul fenomeno fisico dell'aria satura, delle goccioline di condensa che fluttuano nello spazio e nei nuclei di condensazione. Sopra e sotto la nube l'atmosfera presenta caratteristiche differenti di luminosità, temperatura e umidità.
