April Fool's

Our article announcing the UNESCO granting immunity to immigrant artists was part of an art project by Flaka Haliti.

As some our readers quite rightly pointed out, the news article about the UNESCO granting immunity to immigrant artists we published on 1 April was in fact a high jinks.

The April Fool's joke was part of an art project by Flaka Haliti, which itself is part of a larger, ongoing project happening under the umbrella of Architecture & Critical Spatial Practice (ACSP) directed by Prof. Markus Miessen at the Städelschule, Frankfurt.

The work revolves around the discussion concerning "Immunity for the Migrant Artists", a fictional legal status for artists inspired by cross-border artists mobility and is supported by the director of Städelschule, Frankfurt, Prof. Nikolaus Hirsch. Thank you all for your understanding and watch this space for more news on the project as it develops.
