“Contrary to big slabs which create uniform surfaces, with big impact but often conveying a cold feeling, I have focused on a ceramic collection composed by small tiles, characterized by hand-made patterns. They are all different but related to each other by a ‘familiar’ look.
Each design reminds of a different universe: from fields seen from the sky, to pieces of a fabric, to embroideries, to symbols of cartographic keys, to architectural patterns, to symbols reproduced by prisoners on the wall to count the days. Being small in size, when placed on the floor or on a vertical wall, the patterns can be used individually or mixed with the others depending on the design, the background colour or the graphical similarity” said Inga Sempé.
There are 3 base colours (white, beige and grey) and 8 different patterns (triple, feutre, croisée, epi, ligne, aqua, croix, tiers) with different identities to create endless compositions.
The range is completed by 3 mixes composed by different patterns which can be randomly combined together with different shades variations (mix chiaro, mix grigio, mix scuro) in order to create soft and mild flows, and satisfy any need. The material is suitable for floor and wall, indoor and outdoor.
