Nendo: Baccarat Harcourt

Baccarat celebrated its 250th anniversary presenting at Maison&Objet 2014 an outstanding crystal chessgame designed by Nendo revisiting Harcourt collection.

Nendo revisited the iconic Baccarat’s collection Harcourt in a playful way, designing a big chessgame in clear or midnight blue crystal.

The 32 pieces are hand-cut from the famous Harcourt glass and are shaped in the form of the king’s crown, the hem of the queen’s robes and the bishop’s mitre. The board illuminates the pieces including the red square, which is the Baccarat’s signature.
