Domus America Central y el Caribe, May–June 2017
Live better and enjoy the city: that’s the goal. The different actors that intervene in the development of daily life, focus their efforts on improving urban mobility.

Cities must be sustainable so that their people can live in a sustainable way. Reduce hours inside a vehicle, shorten distances and reduce carbon footprint, generate less waste and consume less energy.

This issue of Domus America Central y el Caribe includes buildings focused on sustainable design; they take advantage of resources and save energy, water, among other materials. Two “green” houses: one in Costa Rica, by Carazo Arquitectos and the other in Mexico by ASP Arquitectura and Sergio Portillo. Plus another exclusive project: The award-winning Puma Energy Headquarters in El Salvador by Umbrales de Concreto.

Also, everything that happened at the International Design Festival 2017 (FID #7) in San José, Costa Rica, and a retrospective on the work of Jacque Fresco.
