Table 1060 by Jorre van Ast is a dynamic example of the synthesis of bentwood heritage with a contemporary, graphic formal language. The individual elements of the base frame are made of solid bentwood and reference the brand’s tradition of shaping wood into furniture. A rectangular tabletop with a light-as-air look features rounded corners and rests on a pair of table legs that divide into a reversed V.
A slender wooden traverse with curving returns connects the table legs in a sophisticated form. The warmth of wood as a material and the organically flowing lines of the table make it a gathering place whether at home or at the centre of a conferencing facilities.
