"The intervention had to reflect the dynamic and innovative spirit of the agency with a serene and contemporary space," state the architects, who also remark a few other requirements: the office space had to include a maximum of shelving for storage, and the creation of exhibition walls for the display of photography exhibitions. Thus, h2o sought to create "a sort of indoor landscape thanks to a play with blocks."
Creating a series of volumes in various shapes and sizes, the architects designed a white landscape, composing the furniture, desks, and exhibition walls with these modular elements. These were built in a workshop to save time when transported and positioned on site. Each desk benefits from both openness towards the shared space and a more private area.
