Among the recent openings, a new shared project between Castiglioni and UNA was launched in March 2025. The two galleries have joined forces with complementary approaches: on one hand, Castiglioni’s need to develop off-site and pop-up projects; on the other, UNA’s desire to open its second location in the city.
Valentina Furian works primarily with moving images and time-based installations, using video, performance, and photography to explore the relationship between reality and fiction. Alessandro Carano’s artistic practice is driven by a deep interest in the very concept of painting, shifting the focus from pure technique to an exploration of what it means to paint—and what painting itself is. Their dialogue has been chosen as the inaugural exhibition for the new project in which UNA and Castiglioni take turns programming the Milan space.
