Blown glass and borosilicate are handmade following traditional Venetian techniques. The new Bonaldo lighting collection is produced entirely in the north-east of Italy and is a tribute to the most precious forms of local craftsmanship, reinterpreted in a contemporary style thanks to a team of experts in product design and lighting technology: Marco Zito, Laura Cazzaniga and Ilaria Limonta, Oriano Favaretto, Silvia Braconi and the Team Design Studio.
Each floor, table and pendant lamp tells the story of a territory that is rich in glass and design culture. With the Bonaldo Lighting Collection, however, the company is able to interpret transversal tastes and trends, meeting the various domestic and contract living needs. The collection is part of the Total Look project, which offers environments with a strong personality and characterized by the style brand of Bonaldo.
Among the new products we find the Acquerelli lamps, which have blown glass colored lampshades and a metal structure painted opaque lead. To design Bardot, available in the table or floor version, Laura Cazzaniga and Ilaria Limonta were inspired by the femininity of the French diva. Crossroad is characterised by the intersection of metallic elements creating a play of light and form with a great scenographic impact.
The lampshade of the San pendant lamp has the shape of a typical Chinese headgear and is made of white or grey soft touch matte metal. A tribute to the tradition of master glassmakers, the Sofì lamp combines borosilicate glass spheres with a warm amber finish and bronze-plated brass cylinders.
