Comfort, style and simplicity are the qualities of the latest seats designed by British designer Micheal Young. The Young sofa and easy chair are his first collaboration with the Swedish company Offecct.

Furnishings are entirely covered with quilted fabrics and gently rest on wooden legs. The casual and modern seatings can be adapted to different environments: domestic or collective, minute and intimate or large and crowded.

“Upholstery is one of the most difficult things to do because it’s so uncontrollable, as opposed to product design which is just as much hard work but you know the exact outcome. So I’m very happy that Offecct is realising my take on a casual couch and easy chair,” says Michael Young.
