An exhibition at the Swiss Institute in Rome narrates the long career of Swiss artist John M. Armleder, a key figure of the Fluxus movement and renowned performer.

The Swiss Institute in Rome presents “Stockage”, a solo show by John M. Armleder. The exhibition in the spaces of the main floor of Villa Maraini showcases a series of works that span the long career of the Swiss artist, as well as several site-specific pieces.

The day after the opening, Friday 17 March, Cinema Trevi in Rome will host a program of screenings connected with the artist’s activity in the Fluxus group, offering an overview of the depth of his practice. John M. Armleder will be on hand to meet the audience, together with Andrea Viliani, director of the MADRE Museum of Naples, and Samuel Gross, head curator of Istituto Svizzero in Rome.
