Anastassiades for Luce di Carrara

Anastissiades has selected five pallets inspired by the natural quality of marble.

In the new collections presented by Luce di Carrara at Cersaie 2013, the centennial history of the Tuscan territory is told through the creativity of Michael Anastassiades, a Cypriotby by birth with a Mediterranean culture and Londoner by adoption (DomusWeb published the String Lights he designed for Flos).

Anastassiades has selected pallets inspired by the natural qualities of marble: Biancoluce, Cromoluce I and II, Minimaluce and Materialuce. The elegant, elongated proportons of the different sizes allow for versatile combinations and large formats for more continuous surfaces.

Biancoluce is a selection that encompasses a rich range of subtle variations in tone, depth, glow, light reflectivity, intensity and pattering. To be used in combination with Cromoluce I and II or as a mixed pallet of subtle differences. Cromoluce, divided in Cromoluce I and II, is a pallet of coloured accents that compliment and contrast the Biancoluce collection. Materialuce is composed by fibrous travertines, concentric in appearence and suggestive of rapid movement. Colour and tonal purity, absence of vein and direction are the peculiarity of Minimaluce.
