At the upcoming Stockholm Furniture Fair, Swedish design studio Note will present a new lamp for manufacturer Zero, a small, iconic fixture inspired by the classical silhouette of a grain silo.
Refined during the design process, the shape grew to become Silo, a pendant light with an industrial character, which is available in a varied colour range of white, black, yellow and green.
Silo has been designed to be versatile, either achieving protagonism in a room, becoming a dynamic element, or taking a step back and blend into the surroundings.
The lamp will be presented at Note Open 2013, a pop-up office and exhibition
space in an old bulb factory, in collaboration with Fabege. Here, Note will also display the result of their collaborations with Nola, Mitab, Örsjö belysning, Ex-t, Seletti, Boxit Design
and Zilenzio, through 9 February.
Note is a Stockholm-based design studio founded in 2008, working within the fields of architecture,
interiors, products, graphic design and design management. The studio is composed of Alexis Holmqvist,
Susanna Wåhlin, Johannes Carlström, Kristoffer Fagerström and Cristiano Pigazzini.
