For this May issue, Domus was in Seville where the controversial urban project by Jürgen Mayer H. for Plaza de la Encarnación has captured the attention of public opinion. From there we went to the Mojave Desert south-east of Los Angeles to visit the three totemic pavilions that Arata Isozaki has designed for his friend, collector Jerry Sohn. And again, in the United States, where Paola Antonelli investigates brand design. Finally in Turin, Italy, where Luca Molinari talks about the redesigned automobile museum by Cino Zucchi and where Clemens Weisshaar and Joseph Grima interview Marcello Gandini, almost a car-tailor, who authored the designs for the Lamborghini Miura and the Fiat X1/9.
