Daniel Buren transforms the Palais de Tokyo

Daniel Buren moves through the galleries of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, reinterpreting the layers of existing architecture: his installation Deux fois moins ou deux fois plus?, created in collaboration with Illy, transforms the museum space, mixing light, refractions and colours. A work of art within another (the design for the conversion of the building into a cultural centre is by Lacaton and Vassal), its being is perceived everywhere, becoming a new point of reference.

At the same time, the Palais de Tokyo hosts until August 22 a one man show by Bruno Peinado “Perpetuum Mobile” and until June 27, “Live”: a live project that evolves over time and combines musical performance with artistic expression. L.B.
