Buchstabenmuseum
23. lug. 2009
Buchstabenmuseum, is definitely a place to visit if you are a typography lover. The collection preserves huge 3D letters and signs, old and new, from the industry world. One interesting piece that they have are the letters of the old Berlin east Haupbahnhof that with the fall of the wall was eliminated.
Nowadays, we are entering into a digitalized world, where these typology of signs are despairing, for this reason is more important to preserve them.
The museum is runned by Barbara Dechant and Anja Schulze and is possible to visit by appointment.
