Since last spring, I am photographing almost daily my neighbourhood, Le Marais, centre of Paris, because I am witnessing radical changes here. This district's touristical and commercial characteristics have been deeply transformed almost overnight, a couple of years ago. It used to be one of workshops 20 years ago, then one of art galleries. Now, it is mainly dedicated to rather expensive fashion stores, which implies that the population not related to this trade is moving to other neighbourhoods or to suburbs.
(But I also photograph sometimes other parts of the city because I believe it will change when the Grand Paris will be built.)
