Daniel Rybakken: Counterbalance
The Norwegian designer presents a dynamic, graphic wall lamp for Luceplan, and expands on his lighting design principles.
Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken filled one room of the Luceplan showroom during this year's Salone del Mobile. Presenting Counterbalance, a wall-mounted, counterbalanced lamp which is made possible by the use of cogwheels, and has a striking graphic presence in the space. Simultaneously, Rybakken displayed Light Tray, which he designed for Asplund, a customisable lamp where the user can define the light shade by remixing the handblown glass components.
