#159 At Palazzo Bocconi, Louis Vuitton presented Objets Nomades, a new collection of objects by nine designers inspired by travel. #salone2015
Travel is a theme synonymous with Louis Vuitton, its famous trunks and suitcases have accompanied wealthy and cosmopolitan travellers for over a century. Nine designers were invited by the luxury French brand: Atelier Oi, Gwenael Nicolas, Maarten Baas, Barber Osgerby, Campana Brothers, Damien Langlois Meurinne, Nendo, Patricia Urquiola and Raw Edges - to work with exquisite materials and finishes. Leather hammocks, bags like parrots with strips of fabric, portable lamps and chairs were presented at the Palazzo Bocconi while in the garden was a reconstruction of the Maison au Bord de l’Eau by Charlotte Perriand.
