Venezia: Andràs Pàlffy
For the second video interview dedicated to the Venice Biennale we met the Viennese architect Andràs Pàlffy, who spoke about one of the central topics of this edition: the “Absorbing Modernity”.
“At the Giardini, the confrontation with modernitiy offers differentiated as well as very indipentend answers to the central topic, responses that intimately, as reaction to the format and to the aspiration of absorbing modernity, can only remain eloquent miniatures.” tells Andràs Pàlffy, architect and teacher at the TU in Vienna, president of the Vienna Secession from 2007 to 2014.
