During the Salone del Mobile, Japanese architect Tadao Ando presented Veliero, a new modular LED light for glass manufacturer Venini. The simple, curvaceous module allows for myriad combinations in spaces large and small, from suspended installations to standing or table lamps.
Simultaneously, Ando presents a prototype of a chair for Carl Hansen & Son, an intricate wooden seat with refined, minimal lines, devised as an homage to Danish furniture designer Hans J. Wegner.
