Experience the global sounds of Moscow with a special evening of performances as part of the Domus Mixtapes series at Strelka. Curated by sound designer Daniel Perlin (DJ N-RON), the Mixtape Live series continues its with it's third incarnation of the Domus Mixtapes Live by looking to the sounds of the city of Moscow. Following Milan and London, the Mixtape Live series offers a rare chance to catch the latest sounds and styles from Moscow in one place and time.

The evening will begin with presentations of soundmaps made locally by local artists/designers/musicians created during the Strelka soundmapping workshop. Then 3 groups will perform outside, giving a wide sonic portrait of the city. After, the event continues in the bar with dj's from Moscow, New York and beyond. With the Mixtapes series, Domus embraces global culture by presenting city-specific sonic portraits assembled by top musicians and artists from around the world.

Domus Mixtapes have sampled the sounds of street culture from Mexico DF (mixed by Daniel Hernandez and Toy Selectah) to Harlem (mixed by Jace Clayton aka DJ /rupture and Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts) to Buenos Aires (by ZZK and Leandro Erlich), Melbourne (mixed by Cameron Bird and Gus Franklin of Architecture in Helsinki) to London (with Scanner, Allard Van Hoorn and Beatrice Galilee). Each mixtape presents a unique approach to an impossible question: What is the sound of your city???
