Call for Curators

The Canadian Centre for Architecture is once again offering two curatorial opportunities starting in the Fall of 2013: applications for both the Young Curator Program and the Curatorial Internships are welcomed until 15 April.




The role of institutions

On 12 March 2013, Dan Hill, Wouter Vanstiphout and Jeremy Till discuss the modern architectural institution at the Black Maria: the Institutionalised event will be moderated by Blueprint's Shumi Bose.



Arquine 14: Space

On 11 and 12 March 2013, the fourteenth Arquine Conference is dedicated to the theme of Space, presenting multidisciplinary perspectives in order to redeem the value of each and thereby reveal "the species of spaces."




Jean-Maxime Labrecque: Inhabitable Sculpture

Reducing a space to its industrial origins, the Canadian architect has inserted a sculptural piece of furniture made of raw aluminum, inspired by Donald Judd's work, inside an apartment: its diverse modules combine all living functions.

Iwan Baan: The Way We Live
