Nathan Yong: Stack

Living Divani's latest collaboration with the Asian designer for the Salone del Mobile is a set of three trestle tables in natural wood.

Italian furniture company Living Divani will unveil at the Salone del Mobile 2012 its latest collaboration with designer Nathan Yong: Stack, a set of three stackable trestle structures in natural wood with variable depths and different colors.

Asian designer Nathan Yong's projects spring from a process of emotional thinking influenced by the society and culture of Singapore and rooted in childhood experiences. In Stack, texture is a strong element. The set of three "occasional tables" can be moved around and stacked according to one's favourite configuration.

As with the designer's other creations, these objects display a touch of poetry: their contemplative voids, the illusion of nature, the technology, tradition, craftsmanship and solid simplicity all communicate a sense of humility and nostalgia.
