Architettando is a cultural, no profit association registered since 1995. The association has its own statute and consists of students, young architects and architecture lovers, interested in the diffusion of knowledge about architecture and art in general. The activities of the association are directed not only to architects, but the aim is to stir up the interest of a large public audience as well. As its main aim, the association tries to speak about architecture in a concrete way, organising exhibitions, discussions and seminars for the exchange of knowledge, studies and research related to the “art of building” and the other multidisciplinary fields connected with architecture and art, together with practising architects, universities and public organisations. The curriculum of the association collects all the initiatives and describes the different activities organised since the foundation. Some of them are published in books and collected in catalogues. Architettando has a flexible structure that allows the organisation of all the different activities to fit in with the volunteers’ employment within an architectural practise. The association has regular meetings and various activities in the course of the year, which creates a known reference point and important source of stimulus and ideas for the members, and for all the people which are in contact with Architettando.
