A letto con il Design

A new temporary Design Hostel is born from the collaboration between MarkersHub, Ideas Bit Factory and the Politecnico di Milano, a space that combines hospitality and exhibitions.

A temporary hostel for the creativity with 40 pop-up rooms that give the possibility to designers and their creations to live together, a place in which the daily life of the designers mixes with the expositions in way to share their creativity with the public.

The hostel is in the Bovisa neighborhood inside a converted factory which now houses MakersHub and it will be animated, by performances, installations, workshops, meetings and evening events. The initiative is organized by MakersHub and IDEAS Bit Factory in collaboration with POLI.design, Milan Polytechnic School of Design and the Department of Design.

The space unfolds like an new hybrid hostel, a cross between the concept of a temporary home and the one of a living factory, where you can visit the artists rooms and live their daily lives. Each guest designer of the hotel can customize his accommodation with his products, which will become an integral part of the collective exhibition.
