Both Amman and Jordan are an emblematic outpost from where it is possible to look into the future forms and roles of the tangible and intangible borders of our everyday life; may it be the borders of our cities, nations, economies, cultures and ethnicities. During the last fifty years, Amman has witnessed a rapid growth in its population where the number of its inhabitants has grown from two hundred thousand to four million, housing almost 40% of Jordan’s total population.
