Iris Walker

Iris Walker is a project by young Jerusalem-based designer Reut Meiri, with the main purpose to create a respectable, handy and elegant design for elderly people.

Iris Walker was inspired by young designer Reut Meiri’s grandmother, an amazing, strong women. When she started to lose mobility and needed to use a walker all the time – it was, for her – the start of this project.

Iris is a walker design for fashionably elderly. It’s light, easy to use and easy to fold. the materials are aluminum, rubber, chrome and textile. The bag can easily be removed and washed. Jerusalem-based designer’s main purpose all along was to create a respectable design for the elderly.
