My Sweet Box’s project starts from a collaboration with the soapstone company Ital Export Valmalenco.
Veronica Fasulo, Stefano Guglielmino and Massimo Farinatti focused on the rethinking and redesign of the traditional pot of Valmalenco (in the North of Italy), called “lavec”, characterized by soapstone and copper stripes. The aim was to design a contemporary pot and, at the same time, value the tradition and the qualities of the soapstone.

The result are two pots and a cake pan, which can be used for cooking and for serving. The pot is in soapstone and the lid is in transparent glass to make the product lighter and more contemporary. The line is very simple and measured; to obtain a higher purity of the handles they were made from a single block of stone together with the actual container. The knob on the lid is designed with the form of the tricuspid to ensure a better handling.
