Naoto Fukasawa: Kamuy

Presented in Tokyo, Kamuy is the new wooden furniture collection by Fukasawa for the Japanese company Conde House designed with smooth lines.

Naoto Fukasawa: Kamuy
These new furniture pieces are the result of the combination of Fukasawa’s sense of form and the technique and skill of the wood furniture producing area of Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
The name Kamuy comes from the word “kamuy-mintara” and it means “the garden of the gods” in the native language of the Japanese indigenous Ainu people. The simple and high quality designs blend into any atmosphere. Everyone is in pursuit of a more “chair like” chair. Experience the feeling of deja vu brought forth from something that is everyday yet original at the same time.
