The design for the pendant lights responded to a need for lighting over a vitrine and the table lights were needed as a flexible and moveable lighting solution for the hotels reception and shop area. Studio Vit have created a small family of lights that used minimal geometric forms and contrasting materials.

The material choice was a reaction to the hard materials already present in Ace Hotel’s interior whilst the subtle play between forms is a typical Studio Vit characteristic. Combining the sphere with a half sphere, the collection is made up from geometrical forms and opposite materials.
