Apartment Number 1A
In Chicago, thanks to Paul Preissner’s intervention, two apartments named as Adler and Mies van der Rohe merge to form “the Jahn”, a space indifferent to perfection.
Paul Preissner combined two apartments in Hyde Park’s tallest residential tower leaving shapes of lights and windows, and corners and floors collide to create a space that is indifferent to perfection as relaxed people are.
The building names its unit types after famous Chicago architects. The project combined an Adler and a Mies van der Rohe apartment together, so the architects call this new type – the Jahn.
