UrbanCampsite Amsterdam
At UrbanCampsite Amsterdam visitors can stay in artistic, unusual and sometimes just crazy mobile objects created by a group of artists and architects.
UrbanCampsite settles in the newest part of Amsterdam, the Centrumeiland of IJburg, surrounded by the IJ lake with a view of island Pampus and the village Durgerdam.
UrbanCampsite is looking to attract a wide scaled audience to explore the Centrumeiland, and to change their vision and attitude towards the place. This goal is achieved by creating an outdoor exhibition, extraordinary sleeping accommodations created by a variety of artists and architects transforming recyclable materials, seen as garbage by most, into functional bedrooms, an exciting landscape, workshops and performances.
