For her graduate collection look book Saskia Roberts conceived a series of clothes and accessories both sculptural and wereable, inspired by the potters’ working process.

Saskia Roberts’ collection Potter. Painter. Poet. – based on the field of ceramics – draws inspiration from the working process of potters, and the transformation of the materials they use throughout this process, both in terms of form and texture.

Through a combination of organically formed silhouettes contrasted with more functional garments inspired by potter’s studio workwear, the young Stockholm-based fashion designer aimed to create clothes that were sculptural and wearable with a hand-crafted quality. To accompany the garments, Roberts also designed and made a series of ceramic cuffs, terracotta bags and moulded fabric clutches to be worn as accessories or stand alone as object in themselves.
