Sketch Collection

Tel Aviv-based practice Studio Beam designed a collection of lamps with a pure structural contour made of curved metal wire: a collection in which material-follows function-follows form.

The Sketch Collection comprises the yearning for de-clutter from modern noise, pollution and attention deficit disorder into a purified experience of pure structural contour.

The collection items are a delicate design of luscious curved wires into elegant see through pendants and wall lamps, suitable for home, office and commercial spaces.

All collection items are handmade, silver soldered and powder coatpaint finished, available in a 5 color selection: green, red, blue, black and white.

Sketch collection items include: Diamond and Big Girl Diamond pendant, which contour is made under pressure, crystallized composition of carbon; Marco, with a delicate contour of luscious curved wires ; Gropius 1919, an homage to one of the greatest art movements of the 20th century; Romanov, inspired by the sky line of Russian architecture; Elena – a Russian name meaning shining light – with a sensual and mysterious contour.
